2024 WHS Youth Summer Cheer Camp!

WHS is excited for our 2nd annual summer cheerleading camp! The entire Whitnall Cheerleading Staff, along with members of our WHS Cheer program, will lead the camp. The sessions will focus on cheerleading skill development in the areas of jumps, sidelines, cheers, gymnastics, stunts and dance plus we will have a lot of fun during our breaks! These sessions will be split into different age groups to make sure you are being taught at the appropriate level! If you have not attended a cheerleading camp or clinic before, this will be a great opportunity to find out if cheerleading might just be for you! All participants will receive a camp t-shirt, spirit stick, and certificate of completion, as well as participate in a showcase in front of their family and friends on the evening of FRIDAY AUGUST 9TH (details to follow). All participants should be in good physical health, as they will experience a strenuous day of cheerleading. Please come with NO JEWELRY, in athletic attire, and athletic shoes. Please bring water and a nut free snack for our break. WHO: Open to youth entering 1 - 8th grade WHERE: Whitnall High School – Small Gym (Athletic Entrance) COST: $85.00 (Cost covers instruction fees, supplies, and all participant perks!) Spirit Blanket Fundraiser

Cozy up this winter while showing your school spirit! Our Whitnall Cheer Team is selling 100% soft polyester microplush fleece blankets! Each blanket is 50x60 inches. Proceeds will go to our competition supplies and Nationals fees. When placing your order, please indicate which cheerleader you would like the proceeds to go to, otherwise type TEAM if you would like the profits to go to the whole team. You will be emailed when your order comes in with a pick up time. Thank you for your support of our program!

Youth Competition Cheer Clinic

Want a chance to perform at a cheer competition? On Saturday October 28th and Saturday November 4th, Whitnall Cheerleading will be hosting a youth clinic for all 1st-8th graders from 8:30am-12:00pm. At this 2-day clinic, participants will learn a full cheer routine that they will perform at our All In Cheer Competition on Saturday November 11th (time TBD)! You must attend both clinic days in order to perform at the competition! All participants will receive a t-shirt and bow which they will wear at the competition on November 11th.
