Dousman Elementary's annual Fun Run will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024. Students will run the course while raising funds through pledges for their efforts! Dousman families, we need you to join us for the most epic day of the year at Dousman Elementary! Dousman Elementary's annual Fun Run is the primary fundraiser for our school that provides many special opportunities for our students. Funds raised support all-school field trips, and annual PTO-sponsored events. Help us raise a record amount in 2024 so that we can continue providing amazing opportunities for our Dousman Elementary community! **IF DOUSMAN ELEMENTARY RAISES $15,000 or more, students from each classroom will have the opportunity to PIE MR. MONDAY!** Please join us on the day of the run to cheer on all of the participants! *Run times are listed below; warm-ups are 10 minutes before race start times. 4K AM & 5K: 10:20-10:50 a.m. 2nd Grade: 11:10-11:40 a.m. 1st Grade: 12:00-12:30 p.m. 3rd Grade: 12:50-1:20 p.m. 4th Grade & 4K PM: 1:40-2:10 p.m. 5th Grade: 2:30-3:00 p.m.

2024 Dousman VIP Day

On VIP Day, Friday, May 17, 2024, students may invite their special guests to join them for an ice cream social and a tour of their school. Please be sure to have your student show off their classroom and visit the Book Fair in Frog Alley! There will also be an opportunity for special guests to have their photo taken with their students at the photo booths located near the main entrance to the school. Be sure to bring your camera! Ticket sales close Wednesday, May 15. Cost for each guest is $7. There is no charge for Dousman Elementary students' ice cream. Due to the volume of ice cream preordering for this event, we are unable to accept walk-ups and cash sales. We welcome additional visitors to our classrooms but are unable to accommodate cash tickets sales at the event. Thank you for your understanding. Pick up your tickets at school on Friday, May 17. *Any purchased tickets not picked up will be donated to the Dousman Elementary PTO.* If you are visiting multiple students in multiple grades, please attend the earliest time slot of those students. Dousman Elementary has an EPIC raffle basket to share with KM Nation! All proceeds will be donated to Dousman Elementary in support of their annual Fun Run. This fun-filled event is Dousman Elementary's primary fundraiser for the year. Funds raised will go towards a podcast studio and three all-school field trips. Ticket sales close on May 12th. Cost for each guest is $6. There is no charge for Dousman Elementary students' ice cream. Bullfrog Salute: Give for Good!

Our Dousman staff have worked so hard this year motivating our students to learn! Let's give them a Bullfrog Salute! To celebrate their work, the Dousman PTO is collecting contributions toward surprise catered breakfasts and lunches now through the end of the school year. Typically, we would potluck taco bars or other special meals during conferences and at other times of the year but due to current restrictions we are unable to do so. Instead, we'll provide a catered meal approximately once a month to face-to-face staff and make special deliveries to our virtual staff! Any amount you give is appreciated and we can all use a little good!

Dousman Dash 2020

Dousman Elementary's annual Fun Run has been reimagined for 2020! The obstacle-based Dousman Dash will be held the week of October 19-23, 2020. Students will run with their cohort while jamming to tunes spun by Mr. Monday in the DJ booth. The Dousman Dash will be a shortened obstacle course where each student will tackle a variety of stations while raising funds through pledges! This fun-filled event is Dousman Elementary's primary fundraiser for the year. Funds raised will go towards fulfilling student and teacher wishes, including outdoor improvements, books, other classroom items and more! Funds also support annual PTO-sponsored events! Help us meet our school fundraising goal so that we can continue to provide enrichment in the lives of our students and Dousman Elementary families! PLEASE NOTE: If you’ve donated in year’s past, you’ll remember the class referral codes and the need to separate donations by student/class. This year, we’re forgoing class competition and celebrating our students with a week of Spirit Days and a Friday coin drive. No need to enter a referral code or separate donations by student/class. If we meet our school goal, Mr. Monday will sleep on the roof of Dousman Elementary! Class Run Schedule: Monday: Kindergarten Classes Tuesday: Early Childhood + 1st Grade Classes Wednesday: 2nd Grade Classes Thursday: 4K (AM + PM), 2nd/3rd Split and 3rd Grade Classes Friday: 4th + 5th Grade Classes *No rain days. Since students will run only with their cohort, it’s possible to flex times earlier or later in the day based on weather forecasts. **Due to COVID-19, no volunteers or spectators are allowed at this year’s Fun Run. We can’t wait to see you next year!
